Droplets of Verse:’Everything is Perfectly Fine’

Far from crazy pavements
On a long, unwinding road
Where the street lights never flicker
The men wear pin-stripe suits
Dogs don’t bark beyond sunset
Lawns are always freshly mown

The sun shines all weekend
Clouds gather when crops are dry
It’s always guaranteed that
What you buy will make you smile
Clothes are always colourful
Everyone’s equal; and all have super style

Pain is never heard of
Even when a baby is born
A man can cut his finger
It heals within a day
Nothing ever harms the earth
Everything is perfectly fine
