Droplets of Verse: ‘Ravioli’

Ravioli can be ravishing
Those fluffy plump pockets
Platefuls keep vanishing
Connoisseurs can’t knock it

Several finger pinches
Are always required
They take up lots of inches
But the family will admire

Drop them one by one
Into a pan of boiling water
Soon they’ll be done
Eat them up! You know you ought to

Some say they’re trouble
Others say they’re fiddly
Meat filled pasta bubbles
They’re my lovely ravioli
