Droplets of Verse: ‘A Dagger of Dystopia’

For Boris, the boundaries are blurred
Between Greek classics and the modern world
He sees himself as a god, a ruler supreme
A golden haired hero in a damsel’s dream

The happy haystack is lumpen, but not proletarian
Champions a twisted vision, a dangerous hallucinogen
His glass appears to be full, but his rhetoric is always empty
Plunges a dagger of dystopia into modern British history
